It finaly got dry enough to skate here the other day. Skating through rock salt sucks but I got to get off my ass so it was all worthwile. I had forgotten how quickly winter ruins decks.

I've been watching the habitat feild log (http://www.habitatfieldlog.com/) like a hawk lately. So many good overpriced 35 minute long skateboard videos coming out soon.

Speaking of habitat, how about seeing Wenning and O'Connor on MTV? I was kind of amused to see that chick skating at the ABC ledges. All sarcasm aside, the chick was surprisingly genuine in her attitude towards skating. All in all it was a decent way to waste an hour of my life while I was cooking.

I work at an olive garden.

It's easily the most depressing job i've ever had. I'll spare you the details of why it sucks, but imagine anything that could be shitty about working in an olive garden or simialr chain restaurant, and it's probably true.

As a child my father tried (unsucessfuly) to instill a 'stick it out, it'll be worth it' mentality in me. It failed, but after I picked up skateboarding and realized the only way to learn new tricks was to get back up, pick the asphalt out of your elbow and try again I think I may have stumbled across what he was getting at.

Okay, so thanksgiving break was decent. The skating was a bust, because I got to boston and it was raining (everytime i'm in boston, it rains. I don't know why I bother to bring my deck) and it snowed a foot and a half in buffalo. The rest of the break was okay; I got to see some old friends, have a phenomenal vegan thanksgiving dinner thanks to my girlfriend's parents, and I got my hair cut. I hate getting my hair cut, because I don't take well to change.
