Word has just come thru the grapevine that Alan Peterson is retiring and moving to Austrailia. He's a great guy and has been skating for almost 20 years now, the past 13 with Consolidated, which is where we confirmed the news. During the course of his career Petersen has rode for 88 Footwear, Consolidated Skateboards, Pig Wheels, Ruckus Trucks, S-One, Volcom.

Bidding started Tuesday on items Deluxe in San Francisco is auctioning off to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Says Jim Thiebaud, "Our hearts go out to the residents who have been affected by the hurricane and hope they find relief soon.
