Every once in a while we find an am worth mentioning and Ki Realer is one of them. Well, this is the first am we've ever featured but what the hell. Pros aren’t the only one ones defining skateboarding dammit. Ki lives in South Philly in a big crazy house with roommates and his girl and two dogs and there's a really nice lady down the street who gives blowjobs for only $5. Oh, and if anybody wants to hook him up with a place to live in Arizona then drop us a line. Or just look for him on Myspace. Search for "gonna be pro soon" or something. Always adapting, innovating, progressing. That about sums up Bobby Puleo. He manages to keep people guessing with his fresh tricks and obscure spots. He also stays clear of the industry limelight, making his photos or video parts gems that leave the kids craving for more. Bobby has always let his skateboarding speak for him, now Bobby speaks about his skateboarding.

In as many days we have 2 skateboard companies making major changes. The former having kicked the proverbial bucket and the latter having made major team adjustments in an obvious - and stated - attempt to move forward positively. Black label is one of my all time favs, now with a major faceteamlift and some fresh shredders - pro and am alike - for 2006.

Ever since I heard the unconfirmed rumor that one of the best men in skateboarding, Joey Tershay, was terminated as Independent Trucks team manager by - reportedly - Fausto's son, I have been wanting to flame him in the worst way. I'm going to here, but one must remember that I can't confirm it was him that did the axeing. Either way, it's worth a rant. Fuck it. Flame on...
