UPDATED 10/21/05: Greetings gentle websurfers. Just a note to let you know that we are embarking on a mission to improve the speed, functionality and overall usability of BM. If you see anything wacky going on, just reload the site once or twice and everything should be kosher. Inside you will find a list of changes we just made. We will report additional changes as we make them and add them here.

• No more user name above the account controls
If you don't know who you are, or if you're logged in or not, seeeeriously...pull your head out of your ass. We want to consolidate some things and clean up the code so the site will be cleaner and faster, and that shit was expendable.

• Faster Account Control buttons (Add Image, Add Blog etc)
We've updated the way those buttons work so the rollovers are faster and they reflect where you are in the site. As in, if you click "My Mental", that button will be in an "active state". The navigation buttons at the top of the site also have active states now. Yeah, yeah, about time...I know.

• The site's "frame" is a little tighter now
There shouldn't be a dark gray flash anymore when you go from page to page.

• Neato top navigation bevels
So there's some visual representation of what section is what. And what an appropriate word for a bunch of skate nerds..."bevel."

• Hell's Bel moved to Columns
Anabel's column has moved to where it is now appropriate, the Columns section. Check it out if you've never gone to hell with a Bel before.
